These Terms & Conditions govern your use of SipProof. By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using SipProof, you agree to these terms and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
1. What SipProof is
SipProof is a hydration habit and accountability tool. It provides reminders, photo-based check-ins, estimated drink quantities, streaks, challenges, insights, and optional partner features.
2. Not medical advice
SipProof is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Hydration needs vary based on health, medication, activity, climate, pregnancy, age, and other factors. Consult a qualified healthcare professional if you have questions about appropriate fluid intake. Both dehydration and excessive fluid intake can be harmful.
3. Photo and volume estimates
AI-assisted container recognition, fill-level results, drink types, and volume estimates may be inaccurate. Lighting, angle, container shape, transparency, hidden contents, and image quality can affect results. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting an estimate before saving it.
4. Subscriptions and trials
SipProof Pro requires an active subscription after onboarding. Available plans, prices, trial periods, and billing intervals are displayed before purchase and are supplied by the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple.
5. Sip Duo and usernames
You may create a public-facing username and avatar and connect with one partner. Choose a username that does not impersonate, threaten, harass, exploit, or violate another person’s rights. Your partner can see your username, avatar, recent progress percentages, goals, and hydration totals used by the competition feature. You can detach a partner in the app.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse SipProof, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, automate abusive requests, reverse engineer protected portions except where law permits, upload unlawful material, or use the service to harm another person. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.
7. Your device and content
You are responsible for your device, saved proof photos, entries, and account access. Keep your device secure and only submit content you have the right to use. Proof photos are intended to document drinks and should not contain unlawful, invasive, or inappropriate material.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep SipProof available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Features may change as the app improves. We may update these terms and will revise the effective date when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms where permitted by law.
9. Disclaimer and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SipProof is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties that may legally be disclaimed. We are not responsible for decisions based on estimates, missed reminders, lost streaks, service interruptions, or indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Apple terms
Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Standard EULA. If these terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms, the applicable Apple terms control.
